Buzz's growing family

Buzz's growing family

I’ve photographed Buzz way back in 2014 when he was recently adopted through Australian Working Dog Rescue. Fast forward five years and he is now well and truly settled in his family, with one four-legged sister and one human sister, which meant the family was certainly due for new portraits and what better reason than getting involved in our RSPCA SA fundraiser book; Kids and their Dogs.

Peach and her brother Egan

Peach and her brother Egan

I photographed Peach first in 2019 after meeting her people at Million Paws Walk that year where they booked the photoshoot. We had a lovely afternoon on the beach together and afterwards created a gorgeous wall collection of three canvases for their home, as well as an album to ship to the fur-grandparents in Canada!

I was stoked to receive an email from Mel earlier this year (2019) to say they had adopted Egan and were wanting a feature canvas of their family (including the visiting fur-grandparents) to hang above their sofa.

Marley and her family

I photographed Marley first in 2017 with Amy as part of my Soulmates project. Read more about that here:

When Amy won a voucher through a Facebook competition, she decided to take the opportunity to have photos of Marley with her mum’s dog, Indi. I usually encourage dogs from seperate households to have their own photoshoot, but after a little chat I realised these two best buddies need photos together so that is what we did!

Rebel (and Tex)

I photographed Rebel at just 14 weeks old to feature in our 2015 fundraiser book, Tails of Adelaide. Since then, I’ve had her in front of my camera again twice. First to be the model in my behind the scenes video, and then again in 2017 when her family had grown to include Tex, and their humans decided to make an extended family shoot of it including fur-grandparents and a human cousin!

Delilah : Watch Me Grow

Delilah : Watch Me Grow

This big, elegant fluffiness was a teeny-tiny 12 weeks old when I met her for her first Watch Me Grow photoshoot in the Adelaide Parklands. A few weeks later, when she’d doubled in size, we spent an afternoon exploring the Barossa Valley in search of Spring Blossoms for her second shoot. The next autumn she was fully grown and a year old and so we headed up to Stirling for a shoot among the autumn leaves to celebrate all of the joy she has brought to the lives of her humans!

Mya the Goldie

Mya the Goldie

I first photographed Mya and Mel on a dog-friendly wine tour in 2015 and created some beautiful photographs for their walls from the shoot.

Not long after, I launched my first fundraiser book, Tails of Adelaide. Mel wanted Mya to feature in the book to support local animal welfare charities and so on a very warm summer evening, we headed to Ebenezer Place to photograph Mya for her Tails of Adelaide feature.
